Commercial Recycling Ltd are now offering a unique glass collection service supplying a range of containers, we offer our Customers a separate collection round to suit their needs. This collection service is ideal for local businesses who need a small, reliable tailored service. |

Glass Recycling Facility
Initially, the glass is imploded which produces a sharp free recycled glass product, approximately 10mm down to silica. Labels, corks etc remain intact allowing these to be removed easily.
At Canford Recycling Centre, Commercial Recycling Ltd have designed and constructed a unique Recycled Aggregate Washing Plant together with a Water Treatment Plant to produce high quality concreting and construction materials.

| During the process, the imploded glass is washed through various size screens producing a medium and course grade. The oversize including labels, corks, bottle tops etc are further washed in the Power Scrub which allows these items to float before finally passing over a dewatering screen into a skip which is further recycled through our bespoke Waste Treatment Facility. The oversize glass is also passed over lager screens where this material is added to the existing recycled shingles and aggregates. The smaller glass and silica is blended with recycled sand to produce a high quality glass-sand suitable for use under concrete block paviers etc. | ||||||||
