AMS donate 3 sacks of presents to the Wave 105 Mission Christmas appeal
In the run up to Christmas we are all busy searching for presents for our loved ones, but not everyone has this pleasure. Wave 105 have launched their Mission Christmas appeal for another year to help the 88,635 children who are living in poverty in the Wave 105 region.
Wave 105 work to help disadvantaged children in the Wave region to have the special Christmas morning they deserve. The radio station has set up multiple donation points across the region with the hope that individuals and businesses will donate a present towards the appeal.
With the help of many volunteers, they sort the gifts into age groups, then wrap and distribute to disadvantaged children in the Hampshire and Dorset areas.
Last year, the Wave Mission Christmas appeal collected 78,382 gifts to support local children.
As a leading supplier of aggregates across Dorset and Hampshire and a company focused on helping the community it operates within, AMS are delighted to once again support the Wave 105 Mission Christmas appeal.
This year Niall Roberts, General Manager of AMS and his wife, Helen who also works for AMS, delivered three full sacks of toys to the offices of Wave 105.2 in Fareham.
Naill Roberts from AMS said:
“AMS are always keen to help out in the local community. We are very happy to support the Mission Christmas appeal for another year; it’s such a fantastic cause. It’s pleasing to know the presents we have purchased and received from our staff as donations will make a child’s Christmas special.”
