Our mixed waste skips are suitable for use in managing most types of waste, including the following:
- General household and site waste.
- Cardboard, plastic, paper, wood and glass.
- Inert wastes, including soil, bricks & rubble.
Please note, mixed waste skips cannot be used to dispose of electrical items, liquid waste or hazardous materials, such as; aerosols, gas bottles, pesticides or TVs. Plasterboard waste is also not permitted in mixed waste skips because by law it must be disposed of separately. Please contact us if you need more information on what you can dispose of.
Deliveries are made between 7am and 5pm. If you are not at home our drivers will place the skip in a convenient location on your property.
Should you require the skip to be located in a specific location please add this to your order.
In the event that we are unable to access your property due to parked cars on the drive then a wasted journey charge will be made and a further attempt to deliver the skip will be made within 24 hours.
Collections are completed either on the date you have requested or 14 days after delivery. The duration can be extended should you wish to rent the container for a longer period.
Please ensure on the day of collection there are no parked cars or other obstructions near the skip between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
In the event that we are unable to access the skip on your property then a wasted journey charge will be made and a further attempt to collect the skip will be made within 24 hours.
Our skip hire fees are inclusive of a 2 week hire period and based on the skip be located on private property.
If you wish to hire the skip for longer than 2 weeks and/or require the skip to be placed on the public highway or a path, please see below
- Hires over 2 weeks are charged at £10.00 per week
- Obtaining a skip permit £100.00 - price includes the hire of lights and cones
