Due to an ever increasing demand for our services, we are now looking for a reliable Sales Executive to join our team.
Principal job responsibilities
To market and sell our range of Waste Services throughout Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset, with the main focus being on the BH postcode areas.
- Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
(Contracted Hours 40 per week).
- Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, subject to experience
Monthly bonus scheme. Car allowance is £6,000 per annum paid monthly/company funded car.
- Location: Thorne Way, Woolsbridge Industrial Estate, Dorset BH21 6FB.
Main role requirements
- To seek and secure Contracted Waste collection customers in Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.
- This role will require a basic understanding of the aggregates side of the business, and forwarding all aggregate enquiries on to the relevant Aggregate Sales person.
- To work with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator to carry out targeted sales campaigns via email, telephone, mailshot, personal contact, etc.
- To provide a weekly Sales Report containing details of geographical areas covered and customers contacted and a monthly Sales Report, to be reviewed by the Directors at Board Level.
- To alleviate any issues or grievances from customers.
- To carry out any other activities within your skills and competencies to meet the needs and demands of the Company.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- Prior waste industry or sales experience is preferable.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Software and database applications.
